シューベルトの3D肖像

イランの3Dデザイナー ハディ・カリミが、6月1日のショパンに続き本日6月12日、シューベルトの肖像を発表した。

カリミの解説によると（インスタグラムの最後の画像参照）、シューベルトのものとされるマスク（生前に取られたものかデスマスクかは不明。オリジナルは見つかっていないらしい）、ウィーンに保管されているシューベルトの眼鏡、アントン・デパウリー Anton Depauly による肖像画、シューベルトの友人レオポルト・フォン・ソンライトナー Leopold von Sonnleithner が1858年に残したシューベルトの外観の叙述をもとに制作したという。

Schubert wasn’t famous during his lifetime and probably couldn’t afford a highly skilled artist to paint his portrait, most of the portraits of him were done decades after his death when his music finally started to make it to the mainstream. All I could find as a reference was just one photo of a cast impression of his life/death mask, unfortunately the original mask is lost or destroyed in the market.
